This is a condition caused water retention in the cavities or tissues of the body which causes the tissue to get swollen. Symptoms Such a situation is characterised by swelling on various parts of the body,stiff joints,skin discolouration,aching and tender joints. Root causes The most common for oedema in the legs are immobility and standing for long periods. Improper functioning of either the heart,liver and kidney can give rise to this condition.Such a condition may also arise due to the intake of contraceptive pills,pregnancy and heart failure.
